Maggie spent 10 years in research & development and technical affairs in the retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry with industry leaders such as P&G, Aeon, and Nestlé. With experience leading global and regional initiatives at the United Nations Environment Programme and WWF, Maggie is often tasked to manage transformative projects and sustainability standards, aimed to promote sustainable sourcing and consumption, as well as corporate sustainability.

Maggie has a Master of Science in Sustainable Management with distinction from the University of Wisconsin, a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition Technology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Health from the University of British Columbia. Having authored grey literature and academic journal articles, her publications predominantly focus on plastics and circular economy, NGO-corporate relationships, sustainable commodity procurement, and ASEAN environmental governance.
