Abe JACOB

Abe Jacob is the Director of RHT Green, an ESG/sustainability consultancy of ONERHT. He has had 30 years of work experience, having started his own company and having held senior leadership positions in multinationals across Asia, the Pacific, and the United States.

He was the Principal Consultant of FutureProof Global Pte Ltd, a consultancy built to address the complexities of ESG, organisation design, disruption, leadership, and talent management in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abe is a highly experienced and accomplished business leader with a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, sustainability, and people development. He has over 20 years of experience in senior roles at multinational companies, including Ecolab, Cadbury Schweppes and Nortel Networks. In his previous role as Director, Enterprise Excellence for Southeast Asia and Korea at Ecolab, Abe was responsible for leading the company’s transformation and change initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality across the region. He also played a key role in driving the company’s ESG agenda.

Prior to that, Abe was General Manager, Singapore and concurrently, the Human Resources Director, Southeast Asia and India, at Ecolab. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s overall business performance in Singapore, as well as the HR function across Southeast Asia and India.

He is a former Commanding Officer of an Artillery Battalion, Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the President of Singapore and recipient of two National Day awards.

Abe has a strong track record of community involvement and social impact. He is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Sentosa, Singapore, and has served on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations, including the Thunderbird Global Alumni Network (TGAN), VisionFund Mongolia (World Vision International), National Service Advisory Committee and PRYME, a mentoring organization.
